In the beginning

This blog is for anyone who is travelling or moving between India and Britan, on a short term or a long term basis to work, play or both. There's many facets to that sentence, and I cannot claim I'm an expert in all of them, but I'll do my best to share with you some useful information and sometimes, my thoughts. I came to England 3 years ago, with questions and observations, I now have more questions and observations. The decision to move countries or even travel is not technically irrevocable, but it influences you for ever, filing away memories in the diary of your mind. The journey is also a full circle, because when you move from one place to another physically, mentally a parallel journey starts of keeping in touch, establishing links with roots, preserving all that was good and great about the past. Even as the new journey starts, of assimilating and absorbing a new way of life. Which is why this blog is a full circle, with ideas and information pertinent to both journeys, or simply for anyone who is travelling between those two zones, India & Britan.. both countries I love.
